I have a leak on the axle housing on my 41 H where it bolts to the rear-end...(gasket is shot)and I was wondering is it possible to unbolt the housing and slide it out toward the hub(wheel)far enough to get a sealer between the two or will it slide at all? Even thought if it slides out far enough I could put new gasket on by cutting it half in two so it will go over the axle making sure the cut is on the top with some sealer??? WELL!thats the plan,THINK IT'LL WORK????????
