My friend has a 1956 IH Low Boy Cub that he is wanting to sell. I am half tempted to buy it and locate a belly mower and use it in my lot and field mowing business doing finish mowing along side my JD950-BushHog setup. Is it right to put such an old classic back into working duty? By judging the tractor in the terms of old cars and trucks I would say its in very good shape. Mechanically is appears sound and I think its had an older "restore" paint job to it. It does have a few dings and dents and a few things modified. Its a real nice tractor over all. It would not pass a "stock restore Job" if it was to be in a judged show. It has the 3pt quick attach stinger setup. I assume this was a factory option. It comes with a blade and a seeder. Whats this thing worth? How hard is it to find a finish belly mower setup for it and what would one cost? He is wanting 3500$ for it and my gut feeling is the tractor is real good but the price is high. I know nothing of this brand of tractor and its going rates. Thanks for any help! Todd

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
