I have a good friend in the Coulee Antique Engine Club who owns a 1952 M with disc brakes. Standard in 52. Optional about 49 or 50. Somewhere around here I have the official serial number of the change. My 53 Super M is recieving a total brake make-over, and took up most of my day. Picked up an order from my Case IH dealer for two (note two) sets of springs, balls, o-rings, and oil seals for the brakes. Got to the shop and opened ONE package of 6 balls. 5 balls per brake activator. I was, to say the least, pissed. It put me over a week behind, because this was the only weekend I can work on it (I am in high school baseball, takes up my time). I'm going to chew some butt tomorrow, and give the parts to my dad to work on during the week. Enjoy them darn disc brakes, they're a beauty. Little more than my two cents.
