I've got a 300U and really like it for my uses, but it may not really be what you're looking for for yours. The first point is that they steer hard (unless you can find one with the hard-to-find power steering option) and your wife may come to dislike this intensely. The second is that the 300U is quite a bit larger than the small Ford and Ferguson tractors, and is a lot less handy in small, tight spaces than they are. The hard steering doesn't help this situation. I guess my take on this is that the 300U is better for somewhat bigger properties, say over 20 acres, and that something smaller makes more sense for a smaller place. Probably best to have your wife take a test drive on whatever you end up getting (or you may never hear the end of it if she doesn't like it). Good luck.
