The first point is that they steer hard (unless you can find one with the hard-to-find power steering option) and your wife may come to dislike this intensely.

The second is that the 300U is quite a bit larger than the small Ford and Ferguson tractors, and is a lot less handy in small, tight spaces than they are. The hard steering doesn't help this situation.

I guess my take on this is that the 300U is better for somewhat bigger properties, say over 20 acres, and that something smaller makes more sense for a smaller place.

Probably best to have your wife take a test drive on whatever you end up getting (or you may never hear the end of it if she doesn't like it).
