You were lucky, anti-freeze will keep oil from doing its job and most of the time the bearings fail because of it.A friend of mine had a 5020 JD, he figured it was an o-ring, so he ran alachol in the cooling system instead of anit-freeze. He would make sure to check the drain plug when it was cold before firing her up for the day. My 2 cents
