The live pto alone will give it quite an advantage over the H. I had a 300 years ago, did all the things you have listed quite well. I also had a 504 gas. Those two tractors were a close match, although I would give the edge to the 300. Unless you have a lot of hills and are baling 10,000 or more bales I would grab 504 at price you quote. One item I will warn you on, is 504 gas is not a sleeved engine. I used a 9 foot NH haybine and a NH 69 super hayliner baler with a pto thrower. My wagons were 20 feet and held 150 bales thrown in.
