Transmission wont cause problems on 1 side, you have brake band or brake shaft bearing or axle bearing problems, better check it out, it will only get worse if bearings are failing, it will break gears or axle bearings will have oil leak if its the outer, inner it will cause bull gear to grind its way out the bottom of rear case. If its the brake shaft bearings it will probably catch a ball in between the bull gear and brake pinion gear, anyway if you plan on keeping the tractor grit your teeth and look till you find the problem.
