I models carried the International name and were industrial use tractors. F models carried the Farmall name and were AG tractors. There were differences in the gearing, The I-12 went 10 3/8 mph in 3rd gear and the F-12 only went 3 3/4 mph in 3rd gear. The engine speed was also different 1400 rpm for the F-12 and 2000 rpm for the I-12. Those are just a couple of the differences, there were several others
