The post on 1468 straight pipes brings up one of my gripes about the 68's. I seem to go through a lot of mufflers on mine (three sets in 4000 hrs). Does anyone else have this problem? Also they are very expensive, I ordered another one today $138 Cdn. I have used IH and jobber units and they always break off inside and the tops break out. They seem to have too much stack for the weight of the pipe inside. BTW even with mufflers my tractor is too loud. A few minutes is ok but 8 hours makes you surley and hard to get along with. I always use ear plugs and I have the deluxe cab.
