Installing a mid mount sickle bar on a C narrow frt.

I just bought a rough but working C and want to put it to work. I have a 1110 IH mid mount sickle bar mower off my Super-A.I have most of it installed and realize that I must build a slighty longer drive shaft, but everything seems to work perfectly. I got to thinking that in all the pictures in the manual and all the listed tractors that this mower fits, the narrow front C is never mentioned. Is this dangerous or something? I will be cutting flat overgrown fields and such. I welcome your opinions.
