Glad to hear you folks are getting some moisture. Ya can leave the gate open, ifna ya wanna-we're so dry we'd even take some white stuff! Tip for puttin in sleeves-stick them in the deep freeze over nite. Wrap them individually in newspaper-take 'em out one at a time as you install them-leave newspaper on until just before you slide them in to keep 'em cold. Have the block lightly lubed w/light oil & at "room" temperature-they'll ususlly slide right in. Of course everything needs to be really clean. Ifna ya gotta tap on them a little, use at least 4" X 4" X 4" soft wood block & little hammer. Keep 'em straight. Put lotsa of 'em in this way when I was a kid & never cracked a one. Sleeved an H in July when it was about 100-tought the sleeves from the freezer were gonna fall out the bottom of the block. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
