Super C mystery serial number

I just purchased a Super C however, the serial number is confusing me. It is #72713. I also have another Super C with a serial #171994. These tractors look identical to me for sure.I'm not a purist but look forward to restoring ONE of them! Any help with these numbers would be greatly appreciated.Thanks, Eric
