Hi Ben, I "thought" that I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago with my "H". I guess it's "a piece of cake", if you have the wheeled dollies that can bolt to the frame of each section. Yes, it does have to be split in two :-( The seals aren't bad, they are half moon shaped felt and run about $2 - $3 each here in PA, so about $6.00 plus shipping from my supplier. But ... here was my catch ... my tractor was parked on a slope for about a month facing uphill, so most of the oil ran to the back of the engine, that and I had it overfilled by a bit over a quart. I parked the tractor on the level, and drained the excess oil, let it set for about a day ... and not much of a problem since. But, I do keep a close eye on it. Good luck and let me know the outcome.
