How did I know you were going to reply to that...? Several different people/collectors I know say the same thing and that is, no matter what kind of proof they have, it ruins the value of it because it is not original. There was a rule from IH that all of the demontrators were to be painted red after the left the deal. If a tractor made it out white, then IT'S RARE!!! Nothing is proving that it was always white. It could have been painted red and when the guy found out what he had, he painted it white, BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER!! That's just the way the antique tractor industry works.
