The PTO units on 350, etc, is a pain to adjust. To get the lever to go all the way back, you will need to adjust the reactor bands, one must be too tight. If you are standing at the back of the tractor, there is a small cover on the right side of the PTO held on with one screw. Take it off, and there should be two screws underneath. You will need to back the front screw out some (front being the front of the tractor). Screw it out just enough that you can get the lever to go all the way back, and no further, otherwise the PTO will slip when engaged. The back screw is the brake band (holds the PTO still when disengaged) - you shouldn't need to adjust this one. There are half-inch plugs on the left side of the PTO unit, that can be removed with a 3/8" socket wrench. The bottom one should be removed to drain the oil. It should be replaced and the PTO refilled to the level of the top plug. I usually fill the PTO's through the breather cap hole (located on the top left of the PTO unit) - you will need a tiny funnel to do this. Hope this helps, Joe
