No they sure are not one and the same tractor. The W-4 has a C-152 engine and is rated at 22.49 HP on the draw bar. The SW-4 has a C-164 engine and is rated at 29 HP on the draw bar. The SW-4 was only produced in 1953 & 54. There were only 2527 made, this makes them very hard to find today. There were 24,377 W-4 produced between 1940 & 1953, this number includes all of the series 4 made ie. W-4, I-4, O-4, OS-4 & SW-4.
