All of the pro's and con's about thickness and strength need to be considered but nothing has been said about adding WATER. Almost all of the flat work finishers want to add water at the site so increase the flow and make it easier to place and finish for THEM, not YOU. Any time you add water you are diluting the strength. So you can waist everything if you let them add water.
