Here's a picture of the bolt on an M. Follow this link, http://www.geocities.com/tallfarmboy/Bolt.JPG The bolt hole is more than likely under the rear support of the fuel tank. You will have to unbolt the support, turn it out og the way and then remove the bolt from the recessed area in the transmission deck cover.
