I seem to have had the same problem. I too thought I had the wrong sleeves. They didn't rattle in the bores but they slid in quite easily. No one seemed to have a answer so I dropped em' in with some loctite along the lower end of the sleeve. I can maybe forsee some problem with heat transfer but its been two years and so far so good. Maybe a engine builder can comment on this.
