The only Zenith carbs had a main jet adjustment were on the carbs for the Kerosene & Distolate engines.

If you are running to rich there are two things that might be the cause. 1. Float out of adjustment and allowing to much fuel into the bowl. 2. The main jet has three air bleed holes in the tube and one or more of these might be pluged. Of course if your choke is not completely open it will run rich also.

Make sure that you don't have a vacuum leak between the engine and the carb.
