Make sure that all of the jets are clean and the float is set correctly and it will run good. Check to make sure your float is working correctly. Make sure that it is not binding up or rubbing on the carb body. Remove the float and put it in some water or gas and make sure it floats. When they get a pin hole in them they fill up with gas and will not float. If it sinks or even partly sinks then replace it.
