Before you put the mainfold on, you should take it to a good machine shop & have them make sure the surfaces where it mates to the head are flat. H's I've been around all seem to have a really bad habit of warping manifolds. When they warp into the gasket, they often will not leak, but as soon as you take the torque off of 'em -BOING-ya gotta leaker & no matter what you do, it leaks. I'd even have a new one checked-I put on a new one that leaked from day one, finally had it checked & found it wasn't flat! (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
