thanks Gene! I just got both the operators manual and the repair manual. That was money well spent!
I have new coolant in the radiator and fresh oil in the crankcase. We'll see what happens. There was not a lot of oil in the coolant just enough to float a thin skin of oil on top the anitfreeze in a 5 gal bucket. I see no evidence of coolant in the oil but I suspect that the oil pressure is greater than the coolant system pressusre so maybe it goes only one way.
