Ditto!! I have seen the absolute rudest and crudest of humanity on the Internet. I tried to participate in other message boards pertaining to some of my other interests but there always seems to be a LOT of disrespect and downright nasty stuff that goes on - then I bought a 1951 Farmall C and found this web site. I looked through the message forum laboriously before I posted anything. I expected to find the same kind of mindless personal attacks I find on all the others. Boy was I pleasantly surprised to not only find genuinely nice folks here but also useful information!! Gene B and the others have helped me also. I wasn't raised on a farm but my Grandfather and a couple of my uncles farmed here in NW IA and I spent my summers on the farm helping out. As I work on and drive my tractor I am experiencing a flood of childhood memories of time spent with Granpa and my Uncles on the old farms. The smell of this old tractor almost makes me misty as it reminds of Granpa's old machine shed. My wife thinks it stinks but I think it's one of the sweetest smells I have ever experienced! I now understand why you guys are all nuts about these tractors...and each other!!!
