Wheatland tractors were low profile, wide front end, and as a rule a draw bar only, type tractor. These were basic puller tractors used for heavy tillage on large acreages. IH and most other makes were mounted and operated from the rear. Seats were usually made to tip back out of the way so that the operator could operate the tractor from a standing position. The clutch and brake peddles were also made to operate from the standing position. Many of them were reversed and made into loader tractors in their retirement.
