going to look @ farmall 300

going this week to take a look at a farmall 300 am told that it in good condition except the carb doesn't adjust for idle and the handle is missing for the T/a ( this sends up a big RED flag to me) tires good sheet metal good all emblems good tires good no smoke paint good no fast hitch and thats all I know at the time whats it worth in your areas and if the T/A is still there what else should I look for and if I offered 1500 is that in line or to much because of t/a problem thinks in advance ron
