T, There is no such thing as a Farmall 2404. The International 2404 is the industrial version of the Internatonal 404. The Farmall 404 is a row crop type tractor while the International 404 is a utility type tractor. Most parts on the International 404 and International 2404 are the same. The grill, front axle options, and tire size and type options and the standard color (red vs yellow) are the main differences in the I 404 and I 2404. All of the main components are the same. As for the Farmall 404, there are a lot of differences; front bolster, wide front axle, rear axle housings and axles, transmission top, rear housing, seat, sheet metal, wheels, etc, just to mention a few. If yours is a International 404, a 2404 would be a good parts tractor. If yours is a Farmall 404 the 2404 would be of limited use for parts unless you need a engine. Harold H
