Help! I have had this tractor since 1995 and it has been very reliable for me. I don't use it much, but its my baby.Right now it won't start. It is a 1952 model, 6 volts. When I hit the starter switch, it cranks freely and then right as it is about to catch, the starter disengages the flywheel and then spins up to a high rpm. If the ignition switch is off and I hit the starter, it will crank and crank, no problem. I know it is not the bendix, because I just replaced it and the brushes in the starter this week! What is happening here? Thanks to anyone and everyone who responds. Sincerely, Kevin Werner
