I have purchased a lot of parts for three tractors thru my local C-IH dealer. Every time I do so I always ask how much first. Then I decide what I am going to do. In some cases I have looked around for aftermarket. But I will have to admit that buying the IH parts has saved me time, money, and headaches. My parts guy there is good and knows these old tractors. Example: I bought a brand new IH clutch for a Super C for less than an aftermarket outfit wanted for a rebuilt one. And all I do is call and give him the part numbers and he will UPS them that day or if he has to have them shipped in from Dallas it is usually the next day. But hey this is a hobby and hobbies can be expensive. I don't even want to think about how much money I have in amateur radio equipment over the last 39 years. hahahahah A 72'selfstanding, self-erecting tower is impressive though. OK my $0.02. Thanks to all for all the help.
