You are all right about C-IH and my dealer is also very good about getting me the parts I need. My Brother In Law runs a blacksmith shop and said he could make the part but finding the material would be the trick. I love these old rigs and will restore them in a heartbeat, (provided my wife does not see the bills!) Just seems like something so simple and the cost is so high. I tried to straighten it but after a 50 ton press would not do it I thought this was the best route to go.
