I am a lifer with a fast hitch and we are still using them. The only problem I can see is that fast hitch implments would only work with IH power in front of them. Three point hookups are fine we have them too, but it is much easier to hook up with a fast hitch unless you have a quick hitch for your three point. It was alwasy easier to hook up to a ridged or heavy implment with a fast hitch.
