IH 2000 Loader

Just saw an ad for a 2000 loader in the paper today. The ad says it fits the 806 and 1206. Can anyone tell me what, if anything, it takes to make it fit a 706 or possibly a 686? I'm guessing it would need to be shortened where it bolts to the rear axles, but I just want to check with you guys.
