I would find the thickest sheet of plywood available. Then attach a piece of sheet metal a little wider than the frame rails and about two feet long where trailer tongue jack wheels could run. Then fabricate a bracket where you can bolt a tongue jack to each side of the tractor rail. This gives you wide stability and height adjustment. I know this sounds crude but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. You are talking to a guy that had to take a cab, transmission, and steering clutches out of a D7 CAT on a mountainside in Haiti with only hand tools, a rope pulley and a Mahogany tree. Good luck!
