I don't know which would be easier to rebuild, but as for use, the N series was too light and too fast in my opinion to do much work. So if you are looking for something that will give a good grunt, do the H. But I would guess they are about the same as far as ripping apart and rebuilding, they are both pretty simple tractors. Parts should be easy to get for either.
