I've heard that too, Keith. One of the things that's got me goin' is that my own recollection of this tractor is that it was always faded to a different color than the H that Grandpa got a couple of years earlier. By the late 60's, early 70s when I was driving it, it was almost brown (with not a lot of rust) while the H was still very plainly red. The places I'm finding orange underneath are like the pan, the heads of the bolts holding the oil pump, here and there on the block, the fan blades and the drop housings. Since I really plan on this being the last tractor I'll part with, if ever, and my uncle remembers it red, I'll probally go that way, but this has really got me intrigued. Can ya tell? Thanks! Scotty
