Good idea, but here are a couple of problems: I need the PTO to run the mower and whatever other implements I may use. Also, the PTO is not live therefore I wouldn't have power steering unless the clutch is out - power steering is needed the most when the tractor is not moving.

I have several PTO pumps laying around. What I am looking for is how to mount the belt driven pump that came with the power steering setup.
