The WR-9 was made to accomodate the special needs of rice growers. It has 15-34 rear tires, wide fenders and foreward shielding were other modifications. A hand operated over-center clutch was standard equipmwent. A foot operated decelerator permitted slowing of the tractor without hand movement. This information is from the book, "150 Years of International Harvester" by C. H. Wendel.
