Wade,
An injection pump is a very presicion piece of equipment. When they are dissassembled they need to be calibrated after assembly on a test stand, to ensure proper fuel displacement. If you had trouble starting it, you will be ahead to get a rebuilt pump on exchange. The head is the most expensive part. However, most places won't warranty a pump unless you exchange your injectors as well. They won't stand behind a pump that seizes due to a bad injector. The choice is yours. If it were me, I would get both, injectors and a pump. It don't take long to get to $1500, at least then you will know what you have. Matthew in SD
