No way could it get into carb from ex. manifold, but could get into ex. valves. Probably best to start it w/pipe & muffler off to get junk outta there. Others may disagree, but my thinking is that if you blow w/air & have an ex valve open, junk'll get inside the piston. I know that H's & M's use pipe threads on the outlet pipe, so I'd assume that Super C does too. (But then we all know what assume is when its broken down, don't we-ass/u/me.)
