Cub vs Ford tractors

Hi-

I am looking to find a smaller tractor for a farmette with 2 acres. I have never driven a tractor before but my grandparents grew up on farms. As a hobby, I would like to till under quite a bit of old farm fields and grow vegetables.

I would also like to grade our property, and use the tractor possibly for snow plow or hay loading. Any suggestions on whether a small tractor like a IH or Farmall Cub would be ideal on a small farm operation? I would appreciate any suggestions.
