steiger aust sold steiger tractors, The IH acremaster where a completely homegrown brand the international "acremaster" was made by the Phillips tractor Co of merredin WA, & sold by IH aust dealers Phillips was made from the 70,s to the late 80,s,under the brand name of Phillips "acremaster" company was sold to a another induvidual ,before being sold to Horwood Bagshaw, no more tractors where prduced, another group called Phoenix started producing a late model acremaster until it to folded , company though is still making Rotary harrowsm,pickup fronts etc IHC did own a % of the steiger tractor co, but never fully owned it, the share was sold about the time IHC ran into financial difficulties
