I recently bought a '71 Cub at an auction, for what I thought was a good price. I have always used a Ford to handle my chores for many years (sorry), but had an H years ago which was a great tractor, also. Anyhow, the buy wasn't as good a deal as I thought, the Cub needing some work. And I'm still working through it. But what I really wanted to say is that I really appreciate the info I've received from reading all of the info on this site. I think that the people who pose various problems and especially the people who have the years of knowledge and experience, and are willing to share are fantastic. In the future I am going to try and participate more in these forums and maybe someday I can help someone as you all have helped me. P.S. I did a compression test on the Cub and got 110,120,95,65. The 65 shot up to 120 when I put oil in the cylinder. Is this ring problem enough to cause a dramatic loss in power??
