Gene B can fill in the blanks, but I believe it has to do from one of the byproducts of combustion: Water. I'm assuming you are refering to the large cylinder...correct? There should be a plug on the low end of it to open and drain out the water. There are several other drains as well along the system for example the valve. Might want to look into it, see if you can find the plug, unscrew it, and watch water drain out. I have a photocopy of the partsand maintenance manual for it, and the A Manual (that I know of) has care and maintenance. I can snail mail you a photocopy of the manual and maintenance of it...free of charge including stamp. Hope this helps you out. tom
