Hi Guys, Forgot to mention in my previous post some auction results from this last weekend. Smith Sales had an ad in the last issue of Red Power. Auction was held in Western Wisconsin. It was mainly advertised as a John Deere tractor and Sign and Clock auction but they ended up with a fair number of farmalls. Non running older cub with fenders, good rubber $850 Farmall A, excellent runner, perfect sheet metal, fenders, good rubber front and rear wheel weights $1250 230 with new rear rubber, fast hitch, fair to good sheetmetal $1950 Completely restored 404 nf $8500 404 w/ WF for parts or restore with lots of extra parts ~$7000 (2) 400's one nf, one with Norden wf, both went for $950 each. I've been looking for a 400 and wanted the one with the wf reeeaaalllll bad. But didn't want to hear what the wife would have to say when I got home. So when I did get home I asked her what she would say if I told her that I bought a tractor for around $900. She said she wouldn't be very happy but it sounded like a good price...I just about fell over in shock! I think most people were there for the John Deere's because the prices for the Farmalls was extremely low for what people are getting for tractors around this part of the country. Thor

It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership,
