Tim, you may be looking for an item that doesn't exist. I have a Super H, serial #17929, which makes it also a 1953. It has a precleaner like the one you described. It is 5" in dia. and stands about 5" tall. The top has a thumb nut that is attached to the top for removing to clean. The glass clyinder that you describe is PLASTIC. The bottom is crimped to the metal base. Mine is weathered and has a shrink crack from the bottom almost to the top. There are two Dust Level marks 2 1/4" from the bottom, at about 4 o clock and 8 o clock on the clyinder, with the following info inprinted inbetween. "International IH Harverster" IMPORTANT This Pre Cleaner Does Not Eliminate servicing of the oil bath air cleaner but prolongs the service period. It goes on to tell you how to remove and dump the dust and how to reinstall. Since H's and M's use the same size pre cleaner I am assuming yours and mine would be the same.
