I think Pete is right on the expense , one of my buddys had an old 1206 and went throgh it .
Some of the first 1206's had a Solar , I think that's how it's spelled , turbo . It was kind of big and had some odd plumbing on it . They changed to a Schwitzer later on , I think the same as the 56's . The Solar was discontinued . IH had a kit to change over way back but that was dropped too . This guy probably found the M&W kit somewhere and put it on instead of going through the expense of the other way . That is my best guess . By the way Rob I'm still thinking of that pull you posted a while ago , the farm stock classes , do you allow Illinois Deeres up there ???? Thanks for the information , JIM
