1206 original had IH-Solar Division turbocharger, it was easy to spot, way bigger size than later serial that were Schweitzer brand, parts got expensive so IH made a conversion from Solar to Schweitzer, it was parts from 1256/1456 engine, I am wondering if maybe you have a rebadged 806, it would be a chore to put a M&W on 1206, as far as the wfa they were a cheaper axle than IH, also not as HD. The entire Farmall series was always able to change from wide to tricycle or single, you could do this up thru 86 series if it was ordered new with correct front bolster.
