My own experience turned out to be pretty simple. My uncle happened to know who bought my great-grandfather's 47 BN, and the old guy still had it. (But you've been that far in tracking down the widow.) What I did find, while dickering with the guy, was that he also knew who had bought most of the other equipment. You might see if the widow had a sale that included the B, if she recalls any farming neighbors who were at the sale, and then look them up to see if they have any recollection of who bouhgt your B
