That is what we use to call double clutch and sould not do that. (1) pull TA lever back to TA then see that you have about 1-1/2" free travel of foot peddle, then with foot peddle on to deck put TA lever forward pin in linkage of TA should be just loose, now hold foot peddle down at the 1-1/2 or free travel pull TA back til you take up free travel of TA clutch and the finger at the main clutch should contact link of main clutch.
