Looking at buying a farmall M. The tractor is listed in the photo ads, ad dated-5/22 M with a three point. My plan is to try and make this a tractor that my son and I can take to pulls/shows and still use around our house (have to get some utility out of it to satisfy the CFO), hence the 3pt hitch. My questions are: Are parts (sheet metal, mechanical, hooks and widgets) readly avalible? How difficult is it to work on these tractors? I currently own a Ford 9N that I do all the work on. Looking at this tractor because the 9N sometimes lacks the power I need. Also, how much trouble is ot to transport a tractor of this size? The property that I own is hilly but the narrow front end really does not bother me that much. Tractor will be used around the house mowing, maybe pulling a disk. And, as I stated before, my son and I would like to start participating in the local tractor pulls. Thanks in advance for all of your thoughts!
